Osteria Angelino was born in Rome,

immerse yourself in its history!

The venue

An authentic corner of Roman cuisine right in the heart of the Eternal City.
Welcome to Osteria Angelino, just steps from the Colosseum, at Via Capo d’Africa, 6.

As soon as you step through its doors, you'll be embraced by a warm, familiar and Roman atmosphere! The walls of the venue will transport you to old-time Rome.

There are three rooms, each characterized by a wall rich in history.
Upon entering, you'll find the corner dedicated to Roman singer-songwriters, with vintage vinyl records hanging next to the tables.

Next to the counter, you'll find the room dedicated to knives; on the wall, knives from all past eras used in the kitchen are framed.

Finally, at the back of the venue, you'll find the room dedicated to the Districts, a typical expression of Rome's history.

Our specialties

In addition to the Carbonara, which we of course make SERIOUSLY, the Roman cuisine at Osteria Angelino in Rome is rooted in traditional classics but is constantly exploring and innovating: maintaining the same flavors while introducing new concepts in dishes and recipes.

For example, our version of Er SaRtimbocca goes like this: we cook veal medallions sous-vide style, add white wine, a topping of crispy fried prosciutto, and sage. As a side dish, our new potatoes: unique!

Or, we've created Tonnarelli alla Traiano: fresh egg pasta with butter, anchovies, coffee powder, and drops of basil.

The special touch? Everything is truly homemade: from cantucci to bread. Everything we serve is prepared in the kitchens of Osteria Angelino.
